Going to Wembley Tomorrow! :D

Que sera sera, whatever will be, will be. We're going to Wembley....

:D

Travelling tomorrow (yes, travelling on September 11th - Thank you Steven), pretty early to go and see one of the world's best bands at one of the world's best venues!
The past few days have been a total slog and just generally unwanted but it's Friday now. Woohoo.

I've had quite a bad cold this week (its still not totally gone) but its calmed down a fair bit now. I soldiered on at school coz at this stage, i cant really afford to miss classes so despite feeling like total crap for most of the week, i braved it.
Today didn't make things better.
Last period on a Friday, i have double music performing which is *the* best. You can totally do whatever the fook you want and we did. Alex, another guy (whose nickname is Plex) and I jammed in a practice room. Made as much noise possible and played some Muse tunes. We were apparently heard from the English corridor and a few people asked if it was us :P So yeh was all go swimmingly till we were packing up and i went over on my ankle -_-

I broke this ankle about 4 years ago.

I got immediately worried and nobody would pick up the phone at the house... in the end my head of year took me in his car back to my house lol (he's a legend) Mum opened the door and was like "wtf"

Took a quick nap and it felt a bit better after that, still a little tender however but i should be ok to go totally mental tomorrow evening :)

Pretty exicited! *screams*

Been waiting for... oh, at least 250+ days for this and it's finally here. Also, the 2nd night is always better than the 1st (Muse will be playing as i type this) and the support acts are absolutely brilliant.

I Am Arrows, White Lies and Biffy Clyro. It's like a mini festival!

And i'm sure i'll remeber tomorrow for years to come. Going to Wembley to see a live show. How many other great bands have played Wembley? Loads. Queen for example (well, the old stadium). Oasis have filled it. Many have. Muse have before and now they're going to do so again.

Dunno what kinda pictures or videos i'll be able to take (if any) coz of course i want to enjoy the concert and dont want to risk losing the camera but i'll try and bring something back to show. I'm sure you understand.

Anyhoo, time is calling. Gotta be up at 6 tomorrow morning (deary me) so i best be off. I'll post all about it on Sunday or Monday, whenever i get the time.

See y'all

Muse Are Almost Here!

After many months of worrying, the tickets for Muse's concert at Wembley arrived today.

So relieved, I can rest easy :)

It's now only 14 days away. This time in exactly 2 weeks I will be watching Muse... live... AT WEMBLEY! What a thought! Big grin on my face as i type this :D

There honestly isn't much to this post, just saying that i now have my ticket haha

It's all lovely and colourful btw, big multicoloured ticket and I've hidden it away somewhere in the house so only I know where it is. Paranoid much? Maybe, just don't want anything to happen to it, although i'm sure it's safe :P

Next two weeks will now be the longest of my life, inevitably. The minutes will drag on, the hours will slow, the classes will become trials of death but it will all be worth it in the end coz not only will i have seen my favourite band at one of the worlds best venues, i will also not have to be so nice to Steven all the time.

I'm currently trying my best to stay on his good side but it's sooo difficult having to up with his shit all the time. And it's not just his homophobic crap, just his attitude in general. I'm repeating myself, i know, ive said all this stuff before but he can just be really unpleasant person a lot of the time. My point is, i wont have to put up with it much longer. Good things come to those who wait, apparently...

Not Back.....Yet

Hey guys, still don't have my computer back yet, it seems to have been put on the backburner in my house at the moment :(
So i don't really have any indication as to when it will be back

Anyway, a quick update on the events of last week :

Work Experience - Was pretty good, didn't do much hard work, just cleaned out a few practice rooms, watched how the recording process takes place, ate donuts.....lol

Muse and Kasabian gigs - Absolutely fantastic, was quite stressful getting there as we wanted a good place for Muse standing (which we got!) and we had to pick up Alex and Steven on the way (and another friend called Elliot)
So the 4 of us queued for a bit and managed to get pretty much at the barrier for Muse which was just everything i expected plus more, just fabulous!

For Kasabian, things weren't as rushed coz - 1) We were seated and - 2) Steven didn't have seats near us.
So we picked up Alex and Elliot (i'm just gonna call him El now, coz that's what people usually call him)
Got our seats which were great coz you can see everything from seating, although we did feel a little annoyed coz standing is of course better.

(I did ask one of the stewards if she could let us into standing but she kindly refused....also loads were jumping into standing but we didn't want to chance it, might have done if there was only two of us but of course, there was 3)

But once it started we didn't give a damn, we just enjoyed, which was awesome!
Also we had two drunk guys show up next to us in their seats and we were worried there would be some hassle at first but it was fine and they were a great laugh and added to the entertainment that night lol.(started "mosh-pits" in the seating area.) LOL

So yeh, it was, as expected an "epic week" :)
When i get my computer back i can of course go into more detail but unfortunately that will have to do for just now....

And on an end note....

I will be seeing Muse again.....

This time at WEMBLEY STADIUM!

Steven's dad got tickets this morning in pre-sale, so we will have to get a hotel etc. for one night and sort out travelling, but we have ten months to do so, coz the concert isn't until September 2010....

But i'm already excited! :D

Bad thing is that Alex isn't allowed to go, so it will be Me, Steven and his dad and maybe El, because we think we have a spare ticket, but we will see.

I hate to leave right now coz i honestly can't believe how much i am missing having my own computer....guess i was taking it for granted but then again, i have been without it for almost three weeks.

Still missing you guys and just generally the whole blogging community as well

Hope i will be back soon :)

Cheers,
Rowan
