6:30am is no time for a 15 year old boy to be awake on a Saturday morning, let me just say that.
But i was this morning, due to this maths class at school.
I just lay in bed after my alarm went off thinking "What did i do to deserve this?" The answer : I failed my prelim.
But to wake myself up i listened to Rage Against the Machine really loudly, then had a shower then a bottle of Lucozade just before i went out the door and i was actually feeling ok.
That's what i was not looking forward to - being tired. Class is just an absolute no when you're feeling tired so, feeling alive enough made it better than i had anticipated.
I was expecting there to be nobody i knew there but there was a good few people, Freddie was there too but i didn't really get the chance to talk to him as he was at the other side of the room for the 3 hour duration but i at least got to sit next to someone i was friendly with and could work together with too.
That's what probably made the class better, not feeling tired and sitting with someone i get on with.
And the teacher made things better too, i prefer his teaching methods to that of my normal teacher and the way he does stuff just got through to me better.
It wasn't a complete waste of time, far from it.
So i'll be looking forward to it a bit more next time (as much as somebody can look forward to maths on a Saturday morning)
Just going to the class tho isn't enough, i need to do other studying and i will.
The fact that i will have to re-do maths next year if i fail the exam has made me determined to pass it.
Cheers guys,
Rowan
